In December 2015, NXP Semiconductors merged with Freescale Semiconductors.

The in-house Brand Identity and Creative team focused on integrating brands, linking systems, processes, worklflow and updating facilities communications worldwide. As one of the lead creatives, I was responsible for product launches, as well as creating templates, guidelines and graphic quality assurance for the new combined brand.

After the merger with Freescale, I designed advertisements, posters, banners and product communications to promote the new NXP brand worldwide.

This image and concept was created for the networking chip LS1012A, the smallest 64-bit processor that will enable the internet of things.

I creative directed many hero images of the new company's vast inventory of products: microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors and software.

Teaming up with the corporate creative director, we engaged in rapid brand integration, creating a new look and feel and updating communications.

For the i.MX8 launch, I worked with a 3D vendor to create a series of animations showing the future enabled by i.MX8. Click to see the reel.

I created a series of security images showing how the NXP chip is integrated into identification documents.

The merge between NXP and Freescale was an exciting time to be a core member of the brand team. The two companies were nearly equal in size and value, but together we became a top semiconductor company in the world.  The Brand and Creative Group from Freescale was awarded the honor of integrating brands, work processes and systems to support the new NXP brand. We engaged in a dialog with our new VP of Marketing and business lines to bring the companies together.

The team explored design options for a new combined look and feel and presented several iterations to the VP and Director of Global Marketing. High-level events, such as the Freescale Technology Forum, were rebranded and as successful as ever. Products were re-aligned and together we created a vision for the company moving forward.
