The Freescale brand and creative group blossomed into a worldclass in-house agency in the years leading up to the NXP merger.

The team handled incredible workloads, high-level events, and complex, technical product launches, including working with regional teams to ensure brand integrity worldwide. I led the team in brand and creative strategy for products, mentored the design team and was the quality assurance filter in the workflow.

Posters from the 2014 rebrand. Initiative was to elevate the corporate brand, own the color orange in our industry, and promote brand consistency across all business lines, events, and corporate communications.

I designed the Internet of things booth for ARM Tech Con in 2013. The IoT wall was a collection of product demos showcasing IoT technology. It was also a precursor to the IoT Tour truck that won awards for the group in 2015.

The inspiration for the Kinetis launch video was deived from the signature graphic. I hired a 3D vendor and worked with the product team to create an animation for events and online. Click here to see launch video.

I led the creative team on all print and online advertisements. These are a few samples of Kinetis advertisements in print at the brand level and online for product-specific, partner ad banners.

After the 2010 rebrand and the push for more sub-brands grew, I set-up a system to brand each product with its own color palette, hero image and icons, while keeping the corporate brand intact. These 'cheatsheets' were useful in production.

These sub-brand 'signatute graphics' were used in lieu of product logos to help product marketers promote at industry events and product-level communications. This image was created for Kinetis 2.0 launch, leveraging the original Kinetis graphic and a play on the K2 mountain.

My success as a Creative Director for Freescale branches from the talented team that supported every launch, campaign and event. We were honored in 2015 with EE Times and EDN ACE “Marketing Team of the Year” award.

Bravo Award for Automotive IoT microsite

I worked with a 3D vendor to create a microsite for the automotive solutions by Freescale. The site integrated an augmented reality application that was triggered by hotspots on a real car at the event.
